Working with Regeneration Teams to Bring the Vision to Life
When devising frameworks for urban regeneration, it's important to ensure that everyone can share in the vision and see the benefits of a new scheme. We work with regeneration teams within local authorities and development agencies, helping to realise the vision for a brighter future.
In the early stages of a regeneration programme, we understand that you won’t always have architectural plans for us to work from. It’s likely that the vision will be short on specifics, focussing instead on broad strategy. Nonetheless, you will probably want to start creating imagery that reflects the vision, even at this early stage, to help communicate with consultants, communities, colleagues and investors. We will therefore work closely with your team, firstly to devise concept sketches, and then to bring these to life as realistic 3D visualisations.
At iCreate, we put forward a phased process that we hope ties in with the evolution of your regeneration programme, whereby our Artistic Concepts and 3D Visualisations will evolve over time, to develop into the fully-fledged vision.
Step by Step to Realise the Vision
Initially, we will meet with you and review all the documentation surrounding the regeneration proposals, to familiarise ourselves with the objectives, opportunities and priorities of the project.
From here, we’ll work closely with your team to develop artistic concepts in the form of sketches and artists impressions. These initial sketches will help to confirm that we understand your vision, before we progress with any 3-dimensional modelling. It may be appropriate for us to work with your urban designers at this stage, and we are always happy to collaborate closely with any third party consultants or team members.
3D Modelling : An Iterative Process
The next stage will usually be to ‘block in’ the proposed structures in low detail 3D modelling, and produce preview imagery ready for discussion amongst the regeneration team.
At every stage in the development of the graphics, we will be keen to receive your feedback and input, to ensure the visuals are truly reflecting your distinctive vision. We will add increasing levels of detail to each iteration of the 3D modelling as the project progresses, resulting in highly realistic imagery – both static images and 3D flythroughs.
